Job Description:
We are looking for a Full-Stack developer who will create and maintain websites including e-commerce platforms and custom applications. Provide support for the optimization effort of applications, with emphasis on improvements to application performance and page loading times. Test solutions to acceptable standards prior to handing over to System Testing. Contribute to the implementation of effective website maintenance, monitoring and development.
Roles and Responsibilities:
o Strong hands-on Experience in Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, HTML5, SASS and Typescript including DOM Manipulation.
o Developing and maintaining all server-side network components using TypeScript and Node.js.
o Strong hands-on experience in React Hooks, Functional Components is an added advantage.
o Experience with data structure libraries and Familiar with modern reactive frameworks and Event-Driven.
o Knowledge of authorization mechanisms.
o Should have experience in developing responsive UI applications and front-end applications.
o Good knowledge of web sockets and REST API.
o Proficient in code versioning tools like git.
o Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
o Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
o Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals.
o Keeping informed of advancements in the field of JavaScript.
o Knowledge of Testing tools.
o Knowledge of agile methodologies.
o Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
o Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes.
o Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements.
o Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills.
o Good understanding of the technology and domain.
o Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods.
o Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
o Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills.
o Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
o Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
o Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
o Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
o Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
